Energies related to your career, business affairs and personal ambitions are processed through this chakra. Physically, this chakra is centered in your gut, or solar plexus, which is the area right above your navel.

Since green is the main color vibration of the heart chakra, you can guess which foods are most important for this chakra! Green foods vibrate with the frequency of nature and cultivate healing. Leafy greens, including spinach, kale, chard, romaine, mustard greens, arugula, mâche, mixed greens, collard greens and others, will help open up the heart chakra. Other beneficial green foods include broccoli, brussels sprouts, chlorella, spirulina, green cabbage, sprouts, bok choy, green peppers, green beans, scallions, zuc- chini, green apples and various herbs.

Through the throat chakra we allow our authentic expression to flow through us and into the world. Physically, this chakra is centered in our throat area.

There aren’t too many foods that correspond to this chakra’s color, which is blue, but not dark shades of blue (darker blues, such as the blue of blueberries, belong to the sixth chakra). Foods that are balancing for the energy of this chakra often combine different elements, like water and earth, from the other chakras. Soups, stews, fruits with a high water content, and sea vegetables are examples of such foods.
